Orientation
The Texas Lash Institute
At Orientation, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Eyelash Extension industry and all that it entails. This includes getting to know more about the Institute, TDLR, and the fantastic group of students embarking on this lash journey alongside you. In addition, the orientation process is designed to give you an overview of what to expect throughout the training program and help you feel more comfortable and confident as you begin your studies.
Phase I
The Texas Lash Institute Theory
In Phase I of The Texas Lash Institute, the theory is emphasized. The objective is to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to pass the TDLR Written State Board exam and comprehend the concepts related to eyelash extensions. This phase is designed to provide a solid foundation in the lash industry and help you establish a career rather than just a hobby. Through this phase, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the theoretical aspects of lash extensions, which will set you apart from others in the field.
Phase II
The Texas Lash Institute Practical
Phase II at The Texas Lash Institute involves 6.5 weeks of a hands-on training program emphasizing practical application and managing clients. Throughout this phase, we prioritize consistency over intensity and aim to consistently develop your technique and muscle memory. This phase is designed to help you build practical skills through hands-on experience and learn how to manage clients effectively and professionally. By the end of this phase, you will have gained confidence in your abilities and be well-equipped to pursue a successful career in the lash industry.
Graduation
The Texas Lash Institute Practical
During graduation week, we will unite with our loved ones to support our future graduates. A celebratory dinner and the presentation of diplomas will mark the occasion. Additionally, this week will involve an in-house Theory Practical and Clinical Practical session to help prepare for the state board exams. This will enable the graduates to apply their theoretical and practical knowledge in a real-world setting and gain valuable experience before taking the state board exams.
